What sets the last ten years apart is the fact that we now have the capacity to incorporate arts-based practices into our professional toolsets. Community development practitioners can now take part in a growing conversation with other professionals about how to bring artists directly into cross-sector settings. Likewise, artists and arts organizations, both established and emerging, can expand and strengthen their reach and depth by using the arts for community goals in their own practice.
